Confederate Railroad is an American country rock band best known for blending Southern rock, outlaw country, and traditional country with a rowdy, bar-band energy. They rose to national fame in the early 1990s and are still touring today.

Their big break came when they signed with Atlantic Records and released their debut album in 1992.

  • Debut album sold millions and went multi-platinum
  • Won Academy of Country Music (ACM) Best New Group (1993)
  • Had 18 charting singles and over 5 million albums sold
  •

🎶 Biggest Songs:

  • “Queen of Memphis” (their highest-charting hit)
  • “Trashy Women” (signature song, Grammy-nominated)
  • “Jesus and Mama”
  • “Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind”
  • “She Never Cried”
  • “Elvis and Andy”

Their sound mixed humor, storytelling, and Southern lifestyle themes—often with a rebellious edge.
